Late Summer Wedding at Edgewater House, Gig Harbor

Late August sunshine peeking through the clouds, lush dahlias, and a gorgeous waterfront venue were just the right ingredients for Leah & Adams wedding this past summer. Many thanks to RcMedia for the images below, they captured the day perfectly.

When it came to the flowers, this couple wanted a few strategically placed focal blooms, some smaller accent flowers, and a heavy emphasis on greens. Leah carried a bouquet of cafe au lait dahlias, ranunculus, scabiosa, astilbe, and a mix of textured greens while her bridesmaids carried bouquets of mixed greens. We did boutonnieres of greenery wrapped with twine, hung swags of greens off the chairs down the aisle, and popped gorgeous dahlias into an asymmetric design on the venue’s driftwood arbor.
